To all my blogger friends. I need your advice. If you are a self hosted site do you use blogspot or wordpess? Why? You like it, hate it? Give me the scoop.
I'm seriously thinking about changing. I'm on wordpress now.

I'm seriously thinking about changing. I'm on wordpress now.
Tumblr. I’ve been testing it out this week and so far I’m a fan.
That’s so funny, because I’m on blogger and everyone with a serious blog…like a blog as a business…says switch to WordPress. I have a WordPress blog for my photography business, that one is not self-hosted, and I like it ok but I have no real problems with Blogger. I tried moving my blog over to WordPress once but it is five years big with a trillion photos and it did not workout so I gave up. I would have to pay an expert to move it at this point, and I’m a cheapo.
WordPress all the way.
WordPress all the way! Because it’s open source code there are way more widgets and add ons than blogger. WAY more flexible. I host mine at godaddy.com
I don’t know anything about Blogger, but I love my wordpress.com blog hosted on Bluehost.
Hated blogger. Like WordPress.
As a freelance web designer, I choose WordPress over everything. So much more customizable & easy to modify/add funtionality with plugins.
If you want some advice/suggestions for your site, drop me a note. I love reading & would love even more to help out in any way I can. (And don’t worry, it’s on the house!)
I use wordpress and am usually super happy with it. Seems that finding buttons for things is a little more difficult for wordpress, but everything else seems like a piece of cake compared to blogger.
Definitely stick with WordPress. Blogspot is not selfhosted, so you’re at the mercy of Google. There is SO much more customization and power with WordPress.
I have both. I like blogger because its really simple and easy to use when I don’t have a lot of time, but I use word press for my blog that I write long detailed entries for because it is a lot nicer.
WordPress!
