Not sure if you noticed or not, but blogging has taken a BIG back seat in my life these days. I just realized I have only blogged about once every seven days here lately. It's not for lack of things to talk about, but mostly for lack of time and lack of the words all coming together to make sense!
Life has been very crazy around here lately. I mean very crazy. In a good way though. Things are finally starting to feel a bit normal, but our new normal is much crazier than our old normal!
I'm going to give you a rundown on all that is going on around here. As if you care, but at least I'm blogging, right?!
Easter was great. I have a post halfway written about my thoughts on it and hopefully by next Easter I'll post it. Last Easter SUCKED BIG TIME for me, and this one was great. We were finally all together. One big happy family!
Boys are still doing soccer and loving it. Amos has come full circle in soccer. He has gone from telling me he hates soccer to jumping in pure joy when we talk about it. He scored a goal on Saturday and his face was amazing. He was so excited!
Aaron and I got away from Nashville and had a great time together only to get home and not spend hardly any time together for the next 7 days! He did a 7 in 7 challenge for songwriters and basically that meant I didn't see him at all except for meals. 🙂 I hated it, but in the end I was so extremely proud of him!
I finished my 2nd book of the year (sad, I know!) and it was an easy read. THE LAST SONG by Nicholas Sparks. I enjoyed it! Now I'm trying to start A TREE GROWS IN BROOKLYN by Betty Smith. Actually I'm second guessing the authors name b/c the book is not in front of me. Oh well, I'll tell you if I like it or not!
Deacon had surgery #3 on Friday. I plan to fill you in more on this soon, but let me just say it went great!
Amos has been going to a TB clinic here in Austin. I'll fill you in more later as well, but we love them and they have been great to us!
Story is heading to an endocronologist (however you spell that!) next Tuesday. We're hoping nothing is wrong with her, but also hoping we get some answers to some problems that we are witnessing. Pray for us, her and the doctors next Tuesday. I do not want bad news.
My whole family was here this weekend and that brings me so much happiness when we are all together. It was loads and loads of fun! I love being an aunt and I love seeing Jordan and Kristen as parents! I also love being with my parents, so I was full of love this weekend!
I've been running about 1-2 times a week. Awful, I know, but I'm trying to do more strength training as well, so I've been loving Body Pump at the gym. As I type write now I feel as though my arms might fall off!
We have exciting news to share with you soon! Don't you even joke that I'm pregnant. Not funny and NOT our news! Four is our max of kids! It is still exciting though and we are so thrilled about it!!!
So, until I can form all these crazy thoughts in my head into a blog post I'll let you know. Until then I'll be chasing around four crazy kids and loving my life!
I was just thinking about your blog being a little more quiet lately, but I figured having four kiddos isn’t very compatible with writing every day. My blogging has been pitiful and I only have two! By the way, I laughed so hard when I read on Twitter about your Cat Wanda song. I’m sure it was a masterpiece!
