If you are training for anything let me know!
I’m training for a Half Marathon in mid-November. Just wondering…how are you making the time for running? Are all your runs outside? I am an almost full-time working mom of 3 and I really want to do a complete training schedule. I’ve run other races before, but never come close to complete training. I’m learning to enjoy getting up early to run before my husband leaves and I have to get ready to leave. I love reading about your running progress 🙂 My ultimate goal would be to finish my half around 2hrs but 2:15 is probably more realistic for me.
I’m currently training for the Austin Triathlon (Olympic distance) on Labor Day, then I’ll be racing Longhorn 70.3 (that’s a Half-Ironman) on Oct. 17. I will also be running the San Antonio Half Marathon in November and probably the 3M Half in January. Trying to beat the 2:00 mark is a goal I also had for a while. I ran 2:00:25 in San Antonio 2 years ago, then I beat 2:00 (barely) in Austin the following February. It was HARD! The hills about killed me! Last year, I ran 3M WELL under 2:00, though, while training for the Austin Full Marathon. Funny how your perspective changes when running MUCH more mileage. Good luck with your training! I know you’ll do awesome!
