Giveaway #11 is by a new friend of mine, Jennie Allen.
Her husband, Zac, is a pastor at the Austin Stone and she is an author and bible study writer. I'm currently reading her book ANYTHING that comes out this Spring and I already highly recommend. 🙂 I can't remember exactly how I met Jennie, but I think it was through the adoption community here in Austin. Although it's funny because when I was in elementary school I lived in Brownwood, Texas, and so did her husband Zac, and I was BFF with Zac's sister Ashley. Did you follow that?
Jennie has a bible study called STUCK and from what I've heard and read it is a great bible study for women who are desiring to get out of the rut of being stuck in what we think is the truth of God. Jennie has graciously given me a copy of the leaders kit, which is what I'm giving away today, and I can't wait to go through this with women this Spring.
I'm giving away TWO kit's, and each kit (worth $40) includes the following: DVD, Conversations Cards, Study Guide and Leader's Guide. You will be completely prepared to lead a group of ladies in your home (along with lots of prayer!!!). All they will need to do is purchase their own study guides and you can get those on Amazon for about $10.
TWO people will win! I'll ship these out after the first of the year and you can then either facilitate this study or give it to someone that you want to facilitate it!!!
To win this, I want it to be super easy. As with all the giveaway's, you don't have to do all of these, you can do as much or as little as you want. For each thing you do leave a separate comment so that you can have more chances at winning!
To win:
1. Visit Jennie's facebook page and wish her a Merry Christmas!
2. Tell me the favorite group bible study you have ever done.
3. Tell me why you want to win this! Will you lead or have a friend lead?
4. Give me your favorite breakfast casserole recipe, because I'm clearly still planning for our Christmas morning!!!
5. Share this contest on facebook, twitter, myspace (who still has this?), email, or phone your friends!
Contest ends at NOON (CST) on Saturday, Christmas EVE – hurry and get your entry in!
CONGRATS to Susan and Kristen you won!!!

Posted about contest on Facebook.
If I win this I will probably co-lead it with a group of friends. Also our church does 6 or so women’s Bible studies a year, so we might would use it there.
One of my favorite Bible studies I’ve done is “Satisfied…At Last!: Learning to be Fully Satisfied with the Bread of Life.” By Kay Harms. It is pretty introspective and has you think about what you are trying to find satisfaction in.

I want to win this!! Great timing because I actually just last week began chatting with friends about beginning Jennie’s Stuck study in January. I’ve heard great things about it! I am planning on doing it in Austin with a group of us girls who have all recently graduated from college… in the midst of starting jobs and moving cities and experiencing transition it is easy for us to get stuck. We look forward to using this study to build community and seek freedom in Christ together!
I think my favorite group bible study I’ve done is Beth Moore’s “Believing God” study… we did it two years ago as a group of juniors in college and it was awesome as we searched for the areas in our life full of fear and doubt, and we got to bring that darkness to light together. I recommend it!
I’m waiting for Jennie to accept my friend request then I can’t wait to wish her a Merry Christmas! And tell her I look forward to doing her study next month and reading her new book when it’s released! 🙂
I shared this contest with friends via Facebook, Twitter, and texting! (Especially with the other women who are going to be in this study with me… gotta increase our chances as a group!!) Merry Christmas!
I’m not the greatest cook in the world and usually stick with pancakes or French Toast in the mornings but here is a recipe my mom has tried for us before! It’s from Pioneer Woman, so you know it’s good. And the website has pictures which make it even easier to follow! Eggs Florentine Casserole, check it out!:

My favorite Bible Study was Beth Moore’s A Woman’s Heart God’s Dwelling Place.
I would LOVE to lead this with a friend. Maybe some ladies in my neighborhood.
Shared this on Facebook!
If I win STUCK, I will co-lead it with my roommate and we will walk through it together with a group of post-college girls in the Austin community! I’ve heard great things about it!!
My favorite group bible study was probably Beth Moore’s Breaking Free!
I had the most fun doing the Beth Moore ESTHER study. Really bonded with women as we studied how God called Esther to step up…for such a time is this. Still gives me goosebumps thinking about it.
I want to give this study to the two ladies who lead a bible study for interested mops moms.

I think you will like this meatless but very delicious twist on a breakfast casserole.
Just retweeted you. 🙂
Be merry!
I wished Jennie a Merry Christmas!!
Favorite bible study: Gospel Christianity by Tim Keller… so good! Def. recommend it!
And I’m going to wish Jennie a Merry Christmas! :O)
Jodi I’ve never heard of Kay Harms, I look forward to checking her out!
Emily – I like your idea of having all your friends enter! Better your chances!
Emily that casserole looks AH-MAZING!
I loved the Jerry Bridges study “Discipline of Grace.”. Great study about works, faith, and Grace!!
I think if I win I’ll find some ladies to lead!!!
I’d love to win and do this study with my small group next semester (I’d be leading).
This is my favorite breakfast casserole recipe: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/christmas-breakfast-sausage-casserole/detail.aspx
Okay, I am going to try really hard to win. I would love to do this study while on furlough next year! 🙂
First, one of my favorite breakfast casserole recipes because it is so easy, can be made the night before, and you can add anything you want. This year I’ll be using ham instead of sausage (because it’s easier to find in Chile) and I will add red pepper, onion, and mushrooms. Yum!

My favorite group Bible study was either Beth Moore’s “John, the Beloved Disciple” or “Jesus, the One and Only.”
And if I win this I will do it with either my missionary colleagues in Chile after furlough, or with my mom and sisters while on furlough (I think the latter would be so awesome!)
My favorite Bible study I’ve done was when our community group went through Tim Keller’s The Reason for God together as a means to better engage with non-Christians about the gospel.
I lead a women’s missional community in S. Austin and if I win this will use it with our group next year. 🙂
I’d totally use it to lead a group. It’s always awesome to hear of new gals out there with great studies. Thanks for sharing.
I just commented on Jennie’s FB
We just finished a bible study called Gospel Centered Life. Jamie, it rocked my world. I LOVED IT and the Lord is continuing to use it with my heart and mind to change me for Him!
I want to do the bible study with a few friends of mine!
I know christmas is technically over, by a day, but i Love this breakfast casserole recipe and better yet … it’s crock pot and no carb! It’s pretty big, so it’s great for company … but then again, your family is bigger than mine by 2!!!
Crock Pot Low Carb Breakfast Casserole
18 eggs
1 small can green chilies
1 lb. cooked sausage patties, crumbled
2 1/2 cups shredded cheese
1 small onion diced small
1 small green pepper diced small
1 teaspoon butter
1. Grease crock pot with butter
2. Layer sausage, chilies, onions, peppers, and cheese
3. Repeat layers using rest of ingredients.
4. Top with Cheese
5. Beat eggs and pour over ingredients in crock pot
6. Cover and turn on low for 6-7 hours. (Don’t over cook though, the eggs get rubbery on the bottom if over cooked.)
Enjoy!
