ROUND ROCK EXPRESS is giving one of my luck readers a four-pack of tickets to a game and a Jr Sluggers membership good for a kid 13-under in 2012!!
One of my favorite things about working for KVET this year was the relationship that I built with the Round Rock Express people. Can I just tell you that the people running that place are so nice and love to share their fun ball park with people all during the summer.
For all you ladies out there that aren't up to baseball, let me tell you that the RR Express baseball team is a triple A team and they are part of the Texas Rangers organization. As in THE Texas Rangers that were in the world series. Also if you are not up to your baseball lingo, a triple A team is the next thing below the majors. Which means that these baseball players are not only awesome, they are one step away from the big league!

This summer the guys at the RR Express were kind enough to let me come out and throw the first pitch as a welcome gesture to me for joining the airwaves at KVET. I had so much fun and I did get it over the plate, which was my biggest concern! My kids LOVED the game and I was honestly worried about them enjoying it, because let's be honest here baseball games are long and can sometimes be boring. BUT not minor league games. They have so much stuff for the kids that your kids will love it!
I can honestly recommend this as a great outing for a family during the summer. Everyone enjoys it and it's you spending time with your family!

My boys just said their favorite thing to do in the summer is swim. I am sure after this summer, we will figure out some more things we like.
My boys have not been to any baseball parks, but I have been to the Ballpark in Arlington, the Astrodome (when it was in existence), the Colorado Rockies stadium, the KC Royals stadium, the Dell Diamond and the minor league park in Oklahoma City. I love going to baseball games! And I am sure my boys will too.

We’ve been to the Ballpark in Arlington, and the Dell Diamond. We ALMOST went to see the Cubs play, but it was too cold…

My favorite summer activity is to stay near the house! With twins you always have to find something to do and be able to return home quickly if nap time occurs! We love the bounce house and to go swimming. Swimming always tires them out!

Baseball stadiums – My all time favorite was Camden Yards! I have also been to the Ballpark in Arlington, The Round Rock Express, Norfolk Tides Harbor Park, Wrigley Field, Safeco Field and some others I cant think of! But my all time favorite was Camden Yards!!
