One of my favorite places to buy Christmas gifts here in Austin is at the Christmas Market at the For the City Center. I have bought gifts there each year and will be back there again this year!!
The third Annual Christmas Market will be held onSaturday, December 1, 2012 from 10am – 7pm at The For the City Center (500 East St. Johns Avenue, 78752)!
The event is free of charge and open to the public and will feature 25+ local fair trade, direct trade, and social enterprise vendors who use their businesses to promote employment and well-being for people in Austin and around the world.
The Christmas Market is a venue for patrons to shop responsibly this holiday season, while supporting local, socially conscious vendors. Merchandise will include art, jewelry, clothing, purses/bags, toys, cosmetics, coffee, paper goods, housewares, photo prints, and much more. The event will also include activities for children while adults shop.
Visit the FOR THE CITY blog to see a list of all the vendors that will be there. You will be able to find gifts for all your friends and family and your purchases are making a difference!
See you there!
