The Hollins Cookies
4 Cups flour
4 Sticks butter (VERY soft)
1 Cup superfine sugar (or powdered if you can’t find superfine)
Pinch of salt
Chopped nuts if desired
Cream butter and add all other ingredients to it.
Make 1″ balls and flatten on ungreased cookie sheet with a fork dipped in plain old sugar.
Bake until golden brown
(10-15 minutes) at 350 degrees (pre-heated)
Makes 6-8 dozen
