No tattoos. My husband finds them gross. Seeing how I like to … ya’ know … NOT gross out my husband, I have abstained.
If he ever becomes less repulsed by them, I will be inking on my wedding band. Right now I just deck myself out with henna in the summer.
I do have a nose stud. Interestingly enough, nose rings are mentioned in the Old Testament. During that time in history, a husband would give his bride a nose ring made of gold. The size of it was equal to the amount of his wealth. You could look at his wife’s schnozzle and know the size of his pocketbook.
I’m married to a pastor. My stud is teensy-weensy.
Yup. That’s about right.
I have four– (1) a cross with an icthus imposed over it; an ex designed it for me (NOT a good 2nd date idea) and it’s really simple on my right ankle; (2) a dove with a peace branch on my left shoulder with John 15:5 in cursive underneath it (a reminder in case I ever try to get independent from him); (3) a daisy with short vines and leaves surrounding it on my left ankle (the guy who designed it is the son of the guy who did my mom’s–it’s meant to be a link to her); and (4) a butterfly on my right shoulder (because after being saved, I kept seeing butterflies and it reminded me of the ugly caterpillar I was till God transformed my life into beauty). K, that was probably more than you wanted to know, but that’s it! :o)

Girl, you are crazy. I have two dolphins on my back and I almost did not finish that one. Mine needs to be colored in bad, but no way it can fad right off. That hurt too bad. I must just be a wimp lol. I think they are very cool and I would like to get two lady bugs on my foot, but there is no way I could sit through it.
I don’t have any tattoo’s…yet. I do have one in mind that I will get one soon. I’m getting the verse, in hebrew, out of Song of Solomon that says, “I am my beloved’s and his desire is for me.” That is one of my favorite verses because it reminds me how I can possibly be loved by Jesus. Yes, He is my beloved and I am His, but I get caught up in the fact that after everything I have done He still loves me. His desire is for ME! Amazing!

I have one on my back. It is on the lower right hand side. It’s a baby angel. I got it when I was 22 and I still love it. I have always LOVED babies. Also, I’ve always believed that there are angels all around us that God puts in our path to help us/guide us through our hard times. That is why I chose a cherub. It is a combination of the two. If I ever get another one, it will be an Irish/celtic cross. 🙂
I got my first last month. It is a purple butterfly. You can see it on my blog. I already want another one :0) I think I could be a tattoo adict.
I have 3. I got my first one when I was 18 and do not show it to anyone but my husband 😉 My second one is on my ankle and it is a cross. I got it when I was 30, I like the shading on it best, the outer edges are purple and then it fades to red in the center. The last one I got at 35… a sun and moon on my lower back… my husband has the same tatoo on his shoulder, I always loved his and decided to copy it.
If I have both upper eyelids tattooed, and bot lower eyelids tattooed, does that count as 4?? THERE IS NO WAY I’m getting anything else pierced! I had to have 2 hydrocodone, 1/2 of a Zanex and then injections in my eyelids just to get though it! It hurt!!! (All of that was given by an RN, just in case someone was worried!) I say it counts as 4!
