Today's giveaway is a beautiful blanket from Sari Bari.
Sari Bari makes and sells beautiful, handmade, vintage sari products but it's more than that. The heart of Sari Bari is its women survivors of Kolkata's red light areas who have taken brave steps into new life, freedom and hope.
Each Sari Bari product is marked with the name of the woman who made it and with your purchase you become a part of her freedom story.
SARI BARI Mission
“Our mission is to offer freedom to women who are trapped in the sex trade and to provide opportunity to women who are vulnerable to trafficking. We do this by providing employment in a safe, loving environment, where women are trained as artisans. The women create beautiful, sustainable, handmade products, while making their lives new. We invite you to journey into the freedom story of one woman with your purchase.”
Sari Bari also has so many other beautiful pieces that you should go check out! Purses, messengers bags, baby blankets, jewelry rolls and much more!
Each piece is made by a survivor. These women are taking back their freedom. What a joy to get to be a small part of this when you purchase from Sari Bari!
The blanket you could win is the one pictured above.

Jaime they don’t have any blankets on their website. Is this a throw blanket size? Also, I’ve added a few things from Sari Bari to my Amazon wislist using the universal add button.
I love this. I have always wanted to get more involved with the sex trafficking in my city. Such a sad and horrible thing that really is hidden from most people.I would love to get more information about this please.
Gorgeous! And very cool organization!
Tegu Blocks are a GREAT product and company with a mission.
I don’t currently support any organization that works to eliminate sex trafficking or support victims of it. I’d like more information on some reputable organizations.
Our church supports a group here in town called Elijah Rising. Awesome group bringing awareness to the trafficking issue.
Sounds like an amazing organization that serves women who desperately need another option. It’s a beautiful blanket and I would be proud to be its new owner! 😉
