Tomorrow is a big day for us in so many ways.
- It is my momma's birthday! Happy Birthday mom/nana! You are greatly loved around this Ivey house. I am much of the woman that I am today because of this woman. (Picture below from last years Holiday fun day at Cayden's school!)
- I will be running 13.1 miles tomorrow and oh how I'm not prepared. I have run this many miles before, but honestly I have NEVER been so under prepared. Last time I ran 13 miles was in February. I have hardly run at all in the past 5 weeks. It is bad folks. Very very bad. But I will run 13. 1 miles all while dreaming of nachos and Longhorn football as we leave the race and literally race back to go to the
- UT football game tomorrow at 11! We love to go to games and this will be our second game this season! So excited!!!!
- We will also be celebrating ONE YEAR from when our sweet Story girl came home to us. Words can't describe my thoughts on this now, so I'll save that for another day, but I can not believe this girl has only been here one year. It seems like a lifetime!
So, October 23, 2010 will be fun and we are celebrating my Mom, Story, adoption, running and UT football. That's a good day!
That IS a big day! What sweet pics of Story. I hope your 13.1 miles are fun and not too painful. Blessings!
Wow! What a big day! I can’t believe Story has been home for a year, it seems like just yesterday that I rejoiced to God with you in her homecoming! Hope you have a wonderful day!!
Also.. Jamie! Im coming to Austin, TX for a tour with the 9 month Discipleship program I am in (Master’s Commission) to put on an I am 2nd drama for some youth groups. We’ll be there sometime between Oct 27th and Nov 3. I know you are a busy mommy and wife with a busy schedule.. but if I happen to be anywhere near where you are and can meet you I would love to just give you a big hug and tell you how much I appreciate your story and how much you and Aaron have inspired a faith to be fearless in the plans God has for my life! I saw Spur58 perform my sophomore year of college back in 2007 at a BSU retreat and have been following your blogs since.
Once I find out what church we will be at I’ll let you know.. Ill be sharing my testimony and would love it if you could hear it! And if I don’t get to meet you.. then please know that I am sending you a big hug and thanks!!
