Last week we had our annual National Night Out on our street. It was more than I expected and I loved it. I had no idea how many people would show up. It was great to meet new neighbors and the kids had so much fun! The police, EMS & firemen came by. Story even peed in the fire truck. That was a grand moment for us as parents!

We are really so blessed in our neighborhood. We have some great neighbors and have felt right at home. Everyone asks how it is going living in St. John's and honestly it has been good for us. We haven't had anything crazy happen to us …. yet. Nothing has been stolen. I've felt safe. We've felt happy. The kids are doing well in school. We have a few neighborhood friends that the kids play with.
Some of our favorite things about living here are our friends that also live here as well. The Stewart's, Bush', Ingram's all do life here as well. We are blessed. Very very blessed.
