I can barely even believe June is almost here. May was truly the blink of an eye – and now the kids are officially out of school! WOO! I love getting to catch up on reading in the summer so this is just the beginning for me!
Here’s what I read in May:
Ginny Owens was recently on The Happy Hour to talk about her newest book Singing in the Dark. It is a beautiful book about finding hope in scripture and leaning on Christ, even in darkness. I walked away so encouraged and definitely recommend this read.
What If Jesus Was Serious?
This book is such a fun visual and dives right into whether or not we are truly hearing what Christ is saying. Skye Jethani wrote What If Jesus was Serious? to provide a visual guide for the teachings and love. This is truly such a beautiful and unique project!
7 Myths About Singleness
Sam Allberry is actually on the podcast today and we talk about his book 7 Myths About Singleness. Even though I’ve been married for almost 20 years, this book and conversation was so impactful to me.
10 Questions Every Teen Should Ask (and Answer) About Christianity
Definitely will be recommending this book to my kids. I really enjoyed Rebecca McLaughlin’s last book Confronting Christianity, so when I saw this book, I had to snag it. So many great questions and thoughts that are important for our kids to ask as they begin to step into independence.
This beautiful project releases May 1st and you absolutely should not wait. Faithful is a collaboration of projects that guides readers through scripture and worship, while celebrating the contribution of women in the Bible.
