I found myself alone today and ended up at a consignment store nearby. My thoughts have been consumed lately with Amos and Story and I can not wait until we get to see them in May. I don't know if I'm more excited for me to see them again or more excited for Aaron to meet them. I think I'm more excited for Aaron to meet his kids. What a day that will be.
I ended up in the consignment store and bought clothes for none other than Amos and Story! I'm not spending lots of money, but even if the clothes are used there is just something about bringing clothes to them when we see them. Every evening I lay out the kids clothes for the next day here and when I was in Haiti in January that was one of my favorite times. It felt like routine and it felt right to lay out their clothes for the next day. It's just something I enjoy doing as a mom.
that is funny…i lay my kids clothes out the night before too.
(i thought i was a little neurotic for doing that…maybe not)
i like to think it gives me a headstart for the next day.
what sizes are you buying amos and story?…just in case i see something thats too good to pass up!
