I've recently become friends (online, does that count?!?!) with Sarah and there are so many things that I love about her as I've gotten to know her, and one of them is how her family packed their bags and moved to Peru to run the Krochet Kids in Peru. So thru her I've grown to love all that Krochet Kids is doing around the world!
Their mission is to create sustainable economic development programs that support holistic growth of individuals and communities living in poverty. I love the model they are using that is empowering the women of Northern Uganda and Peru with the assets, skills, and knowledge to lift themselves and their families out of poverty. The result is long lasting and sustainable change.
