For the first time in a long time I became very home sick for Texas and for my family today. We have been here 4.5 years and I love it. It is wonderful and home, but ALL of our family is in Texas. ALL of them! We get back often, but something happened today and I wanted to be there so badly and couldn't.
My brother, Jordan, and his beautiful wife, Kristen, had their first baby today! Porter joined this world at 2:12 pm today. I made so many calls to my family today that they for sure thought I was crazy. I was so jealous of everyone there holding him and loving him and me stuck in TN VERY VERY far away from this new little love. I will be there soon to love all over this little boy!
I can't tell you how excited we are that our boys will have a cousin that is so close to their age. I know they will play together all the time and become best friends in life! I look forward to many holiday's and summers together with these boys. This makes #3 boy on our side of the family and #4 will hopefully be home next year!

I love you all! Tell Porter his favorite Aunt is on her way to see him, hold him and love all over him very soon! He also has two cousins that talk about him all the time and can't wait to “play” with him!!!
