If you have never known that you struggled with control, I think we can all agree that in 2020 we realized how much we struggle with control. On today's show I sat down with Sharon Miller, author, friend, mom, wife and pastor. Sharon's new book, The Cost of Control”, hits home for all of us because it unpacks why we want control and where this sin first started. Whether it's our job titles, our children, our staff, our families or even practicing the prosperity gospel, we want some form of control. If you are struggling with control you are not alone.

Sharon's new book gives us some practical ways for us to move forward. How do we put down control and pick up the agency gift God has given us? We name and order the things that are causing us to want control because that's what  God does, it’s what he commanded Adam to do and it’s what we as believers in Jesus are to do as well.
