Today's giveaway is from an organization called Heshima Kenya, which is an organization that benefits women in Kenya. These scarves are the softest I have ever owned and each one is handmade by an unaccompanied refugee woman that is living in Kenya.
Check out this video to see the scarves and the women making them. It's amazing how they are made:
I absolutely LOVE the mission of Heshima Kenya: “Heshima Kenya specializes in identifying and protecting unaccompanied and separated refugee children and youth, especially girls, young women and their children living in Nairobi, Kenya. Our shelter, education and community outreach services, coupled with local resources and the refugee community, empower this population to live healthy lives. By providing resources for long-term support, these girls and young women become catalysts for strengthening networks creating sustainable change within the local and global communities.”
Y'all if you are looking for gifts that make a difference in someone's life and are beautiful as well, this is a great place to purchase something! Check out some of these scarves:

I’m an early shopper. I’m 99% done! 🙂
I’m a bit of an early shopper, but I do most of it online! I love shopping but not really this time of year with all the crowds!
I shared on fb.
I would like to be an early shopper, but I’m a procrastinator by nature so I usually wait until December to buy gifts. These scarves are beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing!
I’m obsessed with being done with anything early! So shopping earlier is best for me!
I hope to be done the week before Christmas with my shopping. I know for some that is early ad others that is really late. Love this project!
Beautiful! I’ll be buying a couple as Christmas gifts for my sisters 🙂
I posted about this giveaway on Facebook!
The scarfs are beautiful, but the smiles on the women’s faces who make the scarfs are even more beautiful!
good for you! i wish i was an early shopper, but hopefully i’ll be done by the 20th! i know. that’s late. i also like to buy everything online. I HATE stores in the holiday’s!
I’m with you!
I know!
definitely a last minute shopper. thank you amazon prime 🙂
I’m a late shopper…actually, to be honest, I hate shopping so I just put it off until the last possible second!
I try to start early and get it done, but there is always some last minute shopping to be done!
I definitely am a middle of the road shopper! Some people I know right off the bat what I should buy. Others like my husband take some time to hink through 🙂
Every year I am determined to do it early. And every year kick myself for waiting until December! Maybe 2014 will be my year!
Oh and I have a scarf fetish!!
