Here's the Diehl
Last year I was a tad bit too late on buying the advent wreath that I wanted, so this year I am on top of things and getting ready to go for the Christmas season! I found this amazing site from a friends blog and immediately knew that I wanted to get this Advent tradition going in our family using her advent calendar. She even sent me a list of what she used last year in the envelopes. How awesome was that! Most of my work is done!
I'm going to hang mine along our wood wall and it is going to look so good! Now we'll just have to come with a system for who opens which ones, because you know the kids will fight over it!
The package comes with envelopes for each day, string, and cute little clothes pins. She literally includes everything you might need, and all you have to do is fill the envelopes. This is exactly how I do things. I could never do this because I'm not crafty and don't have the time, but she has done all the work for me!
I have also stressed about how I would fill all those dates without knowing what might be going on in our lives on that particular date and a friend gave me a great idea! She said to print them all out and keep them handy and plan each day the night before. That way you know exactly what you can do for advent the next day and you can fill in that envelope at night before you go to bed. I love my smart friends!
Another thing that I fell in love with at her shop were these amazing headbands for little babies. How precious is this? Oh my word. If you know someone pregnant with a little girl, this would make an amazing shower gift!
And look at these for bigger girls. Just plain precious. Everything about it.
Oh my word. I can't handle the cuteness of that sweet little headband on that cutie pie of a baby. Perfect baby gift people.
Here's the Diehl is giving away one advent calendar set to a lucky reader! Oh my goodness am I excited for whoever wins this for their home! I'm going to need to know how it turns out and I want pictures of where you hang it too!
Don't worry if you don't win though because she's offering a 10% discount to all my readers through the end of December for everything on her site! Just use the code: DREAMBIG
Also 15% of all proceeds from her online shop are donated to Compassion International's Child Survival Program and that makes me so happy because I love all the amazing work that Compassion does all over the world! One more reason to shop her store this holiday season!
You can certainly cross off a few of your Christmas gifts from this site! Enjoy and Happy Shopping!

I used to have an advent calendar every year growing up, my parents have not done one since I was a kid. This would be nice to give them or my brother and sister-in-law for the tradition to start back up.
I loved it from the beginning, but I love this even more since she gives some of her proceeds to Compassion Intl!!
Love this Advent Calendar! I am looking for new traditions to start with my hubs and this would be perfect! 🙂
I am already thinking of activities to do with my kids for Advent . . . this would be AWESOME to win!

Right now we use one that I made with the advent cards we got from a website from a different church, but it’s not my favorite….this one looks cute, but I think I’m like you…what would I put in the envelopes?
No, but we’re starting a Jesse Tree this year and I’d like to do an advent calendar with it.
fun!
Hi Elizabeth! I include a list of 25 ideas for the envelopes!
isn’t it awesome that she gives you a list of ideas!!! We should come up with Austin specific stuff. Like great streets to visit lights, ice skating at whole foods, etc. …. let me know if you know of any awesome things!
They only one we do is those cheap ones with a piece of chocolate in them. Not really ‘advent’ related … more so just a count down!
Love this!! So cute! My daughters would love it!! I am a new subscriber.

We just started doing an advent calendar last year. I threw something together at the last minute and it worked for the season–just small envelopes with activities written on the back.
Thank you for introducing me to her shop. Cute stuff and I love that she gives some of her proceeds to Compassion.
