My guest for episode #80 is my friend, Jamie B. Golden. Jamie is the cohost of the very popular pop culture podcast, The Popcast. She's also a digital marketing consultant, helping people tell their story. And if that's not enough, she's also running a home bakery packed with cake pops, Jamie's Sweet Revenge. She makes her home in Birmingham, Alabama where she advocates for foster and adopted children serving on the Board of Directors of Heart Gallery Alabama.
Y'all are going to love my conversation with Jamie. She's just the best. You're going to feel like you're real life buds with her. We cover the latest buzz in pop culture from the Kardashians to my latest disappointment, Fuller House (seriously, really going to urge you not to waste your time on this one. Instead, do yourself a favor and catch up on this season of The Bachelor.) We chat about God asking us to take risks and to trust Him in the unknown. And of course, I asked Jamie about her favorite things and her latest reads. We covered so much, and all the links are below.
{You can listen to the show HERE. And of course, I would love if you would share with your friends. Just use the FB & Twitter links at the end of this post!}

Oh my word! I am laughing so hard at this right now and I’m not even close to the end. I love you guys talking about accidentally liking a photo on IG from a long time ago “you need to immediately throw your phone at the ground and stomp on it…and get a burner phone”
Ahhhhh!!!! I’ve tweeted you a few different times months ago about having Shay Shull on the Happy Hour as a guest. So when I heard you say you created a spot to submit guest requests I immediately thought, “Yes! I’m going to request Shay again.” AND THEN you said she’s going to be one of your guests soon. OH. MY. GOSH!!!! I’m so excited! She is my favorite. I read her blog every morning and wish we were real life best friends. Not to mention, like half of my family’s meal staples are from her foodie blog. This is going to be awesome! Thanks Jamie!
I loved the personality styles chat. 🙂
This episode had me rolling.
“Don’t follow people that make you insta-sad.”
And yes I did roll right over to Target to get the $3 E.L.F. eyebrow kit. Look out Good Friday service, my eyebrows will be #onpoint
Found the Happy Hour after hearing Sophie and Melanie mention it on the Big Boo Cast. It is now my new obsession! I’ve even found myself choosing to listen to an episode instead of binge-watching shows on Netflix, so that’s how you know its serious.
I went to go get the ELF eyebrow kit too! I feel like I’m doing it wrong though??
Kaitlin! Don’t you wish that kit came with an easy breezy tutorial? I use Sharon Farrell’s guide for natural brows found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzMw_VTDZik The ELF kit will follow her second method for filling in brows. It takes me probably 2-3 minutes now that I’ve gotten used to it. Good luck!
Yesss! So glad you posted this tutorial! I was lost as well but after watching the video I want to rush home and do my eyebrows! ha.
