Happy Hour #43 is part two to the Emily Lex interview. Last week I posted part one, and you guys loved it and I knew that you would! Emily also gave away one of her July Paper Works to @babyrabe on my Instagram account. Thanks for all of you that shared the show with your friends. You will love Emily all over again this week as we continue to talk about what God's doing in her life, what we're reading, and the books we want to write one day.
{You can listen to the show HERE, and make sure you never miss a Happy Hour by subscribing through your favorite podcast app (ie. iTunes, Stitcher). And of course, I would love if you would share with your friends!}

Noonday Collection is a socially responsible business uses fashion and design to create meaningful opportunity around the world. Jessica Honegger hosted the first Noonday trunk show as an adoption fundraiser to bring her son home from Rwanda. Soon after Noonday began inviting other women across the US to launch Noonday businesses in their community. Noonday Ambassadors are stylists, storytellers and social entrepreneurs who earn an income by selling beautiful products handmade by Artisans around the world.
If you share a passion for changing the world and want to get your community involved in making a difference, you should learn more about becoming a Noonday Ambassadors. I had a chance to spend a weekend with Noonday’s Ambassador community back in January and let me tell you these women are amazing.
Bring Amy from the Bobby Bones Show on the Happy Hour! Great episode!
Jamie! I LOVE your podcast!! I’ve been binge listening lately, and I’m so glad you put up all the notes on your website so I’m not having to take notes while I drive. 😉 I just went back through several episodes that I’ve listened to this week and updated my GoodReads list. I’m sure to be wearing out my library card this summer! Thanks so much for what you do.. Keep them coming! 🙂
Sarah
You are welcome Sarah! So glad you love them and your library list is growing!
Hopefully she will be on this year!
I loved this so much. I have been such a fan of your podcast from the beginning. I think I’ve actually listened to every one of them. My commute to work times perfectly with the length of your podcasts. I work as a therapist with people who struggle with an addiction to drugs or alcohol and my job can be really hard. It’s such a joy to listen to your conversations with remarkable women as the jump start to my day.
So, yes…. yes…..yes….. This was amazing. I had a road trip from Tulsa to KC on Tuesday and back home today. I was able to listen to both of Emily’s, got caught up on Niequist’s too, and Melanie Shankle. I was in tears of laughter, and tears of connection. It was the BEST way to travel. I can’t recommend this enough, and I just love how I feel like I connect with you a bit more each time, and with each of the guests. Words don’t even do it justice. And, I have an idea for a guest, Ashley Campbell of Under the Sycamore. She’s partnering with Meredith Toering for The Love Project, and they are from my neck of the woods around here! 🙂 Here’s her link..http://ashleyannphotography.com/blog/2015/06/08/the-love-project/
I’ll continue to share about this podcast to everyone, and I’m headed to itunes now to leave a comment there too! 🙂
Hi Jamie, I finished this podcast today and immediately wanted to look up the vacation spot you mentioned that you guys love in Mexico, the one that feels “European”. I couldn’t remember the name! What was it again? Thanks!
I just loved this podcast so much! I totally felt like I was in the room with you all. So much goodness I related to.
Thank you for the Happy Hour! I have a funny confession…when I listen to you and these lovely ladies I feel as if we are sitting at a table talking. So I have to go look them up on FB to see what they look like! I know that seems a little stalker like! haha
Have a great day!
That’s funny! You do want to know what people look like when you only hear their voice!
I have a book to recommend based on your love for The Cutting Stone! It’s called The Shoemaker’s Wife. It’s a birth to death kind of story and you fall in love with the characters! I missed them so much when I finished.
