Oh have I waited a long time for this giveaway! I received one of these blankets a few weeks ago and immediately fell in love with it. I'm serious. BEST BLANKET EVER.
Hand & Cloth = Phenominal blankets + helping women empower themselves. End of story.
HAND & CLOTH is empowering women with each blanket that is made. Their kantha blankets are hand-stitched in Bangladesh, a country where sex trafficking is prevalent. They use the artistic skills and gifts the women already possess to fight this vulnerability. When you purchase products from Hand & Cloth, you are protecting women in Bangladesh by providing dignified work. Through their vendors, the women are paid fair salaries and are able to send their children to school.
I love their mission and their product. This would make a great gift for someone in your life. The last day for them to ship is on the 17th, so order now!
Good luck! Oh and if you don't win, no worries. These people are so awesome they are offering you all 10% off with the code DREAMBIG when you checkout!

My husband and I are still building our traditions since we’re just a tiny family of two and still traveling around on the holidays. But we like listening to vinyl records while we decorate the tree! 🙂
Growing up we always got new pajamas and a book on Christmas Eve. We’ve continued that tradition with our kids!
I come from a big Italian family and my grandma used to make schiacciata for Christmas Eve every year. Making it reminds me of when I was a kid and now I have introduced it to my husband’s family.
the blankets are gorgeous! so cool! traditions… growing up my parents did advent with readings and lighting the candles. i thought it was special even though i didn’t really understand what it meant. i am doing the jesse tree with my kids, following a reading plan out of the jesus story book bible… they LOVE it. i am so wiped out at the end of the day, i don’t usually feel like i have the energy, but my kids ask for it every night. they love holding the ornament while reading the bible story, then hanging it on a tree in their bedroom. they fall asleep with their christmas tree lights on. i’m hoping it feels magical to them while celebrating something (Someone) so special 🙂
I wonder what traditions my kids will remember. we love to pick a night, draw names among the six of us and do dollar store gifts. that’s what the kids have asked about first!
I have a favorite Christmas album that I’ve listened to since I was a child: The Gamble Folk – Christmas Boy. My mom had a record, and then made a cassette that we listen to every year. It’s hard-core 1970s folk music, but still my favorite album. A few years ago, I lucked into a digital download on the internet, and it makes me feel so warm and nostalgic inside.
My favorite Christmas tradition is staying up late on Christmas Eve with my mom talking and wrapping last minute gifts. Now that I have my own children she helps me to set up Santa for the kids!
The blankets look gorgeous!
We don’t have too many traditions yet since our daughter just turned one year old. We usually get Chinese food on Christmas day, though, and watch A Charlie Brown Christmas after church on Christmas Eve. We’re excited to start new traditions with our little family!
Gorgeous blanket!!! Would be lovely for Christmas!
Watching all the Rankin Bass Christmas specials…we have them on DVD. It started before we had children and now we share the cheesy-ness with them.
Advent is my families favorite tradition.
Love these blankets. They are all beautiful!!!
I love the music of Christmas, so pulling out my Christmas CDs while decorating the tree is a favorite tradition.
Doing puzzles is a fun family tradition that we have! Love the blankets!
I love picking out the Christmas tree!
Truly beautiful blankets. When my children were growing up I always put 24 pretty ribbons hanging out of their stockings with numbers 1-24 on them. Everyday they pulled the numbers out in order to see what little treat was attached to the other end. They loved it. Now I try to give my five sweet grandchildren some form of advent calendar for their countdown.
My favorite Christmas tradition is picking out our live Christmas tree, decorating it as a family and then having hot chocolate and watching Elf once we are done.
I would LOVE to have this blanket! Thanks for all of the giveaways friend! They are awesome!
Reading the Christmas story from Luke 2 on Christmas Eve as a family.
I love listening to Christmas music while decorating the tree with all the kiddos. Also, every year we provide gifts for a sibling group in foster care. My oldest especially loves this tradition because she remembers being the recipient of those gifts and loves to give to a child that she relates to. It’s really special.
one of my favorite Christmas traditions is decorating cookies with my family!
My favorite Christmas tradition is Sankta Lucia Day on Dec. 13th!
Watching White Christmas with my family. LOVE
favorite tradition is sponsoring a family at the children’s hospital and shopping for them
Newest favorite: Advent countdown with my littles. Old as dirt favorite: making Christmas with my Granny. It now spans 4 generations!
migas and mimosas christmas morning!
We are a musical family – well, everyone but me – and every year we all sit around Maw Maw’s living room, belly’s full of gumbo and Christmas cookies and we play our favorite tunes by ole Hank while the little ones dance around in the middle. Absolute bliss.
the blankets are beautiful! our family is big on Christmas – so we have quite a few traditions…..i’ll go with the beginning of the season….november 1st (yes november) we get together with my brother & sister-in-law and our families watch one of the home alone movies while eating pizza. super silly tradition – but its always a blast.
My favorite tradition is celebrating Advent by using an Advent calendar to tell the Christmas story. Also, matching pajamas on Christmas Eve. Ha. 🙂
We LOVE to make a birthday cookie and sing happy birthday to Jesus.
My favorite tradition is gathering Christmas ornaments that represent our year and then reflecting on the year.
My favorite is cutting and trimming the tree
The advent service at church, then a relaxing evening of yummy food and a Christmas movie at home with the whole family. So excited to share this Christmas eve with our foster sister, it will be her first!
I love putting up the Christmas tree with the family
One of our more “recent” Christmas traditions has been a favorite… We’ve adopted it from my husband’s German family tradition of celebrating St. Nikolaus Day on December 6th. As the tradition goes, St. Nikolaus passes through the cities and towns on his way to visit the Christ Child (on Christmas Day), and when he does, he stops and gives small gifts to the children (if they’ve been good). We’re supposed to leave out our boots for him to fill with goodies (clementines, nuts, apples, chocolate gelt, and maybe a small gift or two), but here in Florida that doesn’t work so well, so we’ve had to be creative. However, it’s always wonderful and such a fun thing for our girls. As well as a a great way around the somewhat sticky subject of “Santa Claus.”
