My hope this month is that I can showcase a few organizations that are giving back with each of your purchases. These are organizations that are committed to doing more with your dollars than just pocketing them for themselves. They care about the least of these. As you prepare for Christmas shopping I ask that you think about your money and don't just throw it to anyone. There are lots of giveaways this month, so check back daily!

RADIANT COSMETICS
Last year I discovered Radiant Cosmetics and fell in love with them. I'm not a big make up person, but I do love finding a good product that I can trust and that gives back. Radiant Cosmetics does just that!
Radiant Cosmetics is a social enterprise makeup company whose vision is to end human trafficking. They have had a really exciting year, that began with them donating 20% of profits to an anti-trafficking organization in Houston.
Radiant is so excited to introduce a new partnership with a local anti-trafficking organization and safe home right here in my home town, Austin, Texas, Redeemed Ministries. They receive 20% of Radiant's profits as always, but they are also actively involved in the home. Owner and Founder of Radiant Cosmetics also serves as the Director of Field Ministry for Redeemed here in Austin. Radiant's hope is that as women purchase their cosmetics they ask about human trafficking and how they can get involved and Radiant gets to direct them to physically get involved with their organization, in the form of donating gift bags for outreach, mentor opportunities and more with Redeemed.
Their products are made in the USA, employing fair labor and ethically sourced ingredients. They have a wide variety of products and shades. Some of their best sellers include their Gel Eyeliners, Lipstick and Mineral Foundation. My first product to use from Radiant was the mineral foundation and I love it. I have now incorporated lip gloss, lipstick and eye shadow from them into my make up bag.
Radiant is offering a lip gloss and eye shadow set to one lucky reader. You can keep for yourself, or wrap and consider yourself one step closer to your Christmas shopping being done! It's super easy! Good luck!

My favorite make up trick is getting it on with 3 little ones trying to help!
I’m a fan of simple. I carry a mini tube of mascara and lip gloss in my purse… not sure if that’s a trick but it helps me feel refreshed if I can touch up in the middle of the day or on my way somewhere 🙂
My trick is not to put it on until right before I have to be somewhere/see people (i.e. in the car). Then, no matter how tired I am or crazy my day has been, I look “fresh”. I also have started wearing waterproof mascara. Why? Because I rarely (as in, never) wash my face before bed (I am sure my 50 yo future self will thank me for that one), but then the next day, when I have to run drop off my daughter before I have showered or “gotten ready” for the day, I at least have on some mascara & can throw on some poweder & lip gloss in the car and I somehow look presentable.
i dont have a single makeup trick. although my friend used to be really messy with her mascara and then clean up with a q-tip and make eye liner out of her mascara mess.
Lindsey I’m really bad about taking off my make up at night and have been known to wear the same make up for two days in a row. gross, isn’t it!
My favorite makeup trick is smoky eyes. 🙂
Has too be easy and simple! BB Cream is a must for me and works as a all in one!
favorite make up trick is to mix my foundation with a good primer. It gives a dewey natural look. a little bit of blush and a quick eyeliner and lip gloss and you’ve got 5 minute makeup!
Ha! I have zero makeup tricks. I just ask my sister-in-law to ensure I didn’t put it on wrong!
I am a big fan of eyeshadow primer which helps it stay put but also works as a quick eyeshadow on days I am in a hurry!
My favorite make up trick is using a light pink eye shadow primer as my eye shadow! It’s guaranteed to stay on all day and it makes your eyes seem bright but subtle! Then if you have a date that night, put on the real eye shadow right on top and it gives it a little pop!
I forgot this one too (It’s worth sharing): If you use liquid foundation, get your sponge wet right before you put the foundation on it. You might not think it does anything but it really blends the foundation with your face really well! I hear that’s what professional actors/models do to make their complexion seem more clear!
I don’t really have a favorite makeup tip. I like makeup to be simple and natural looking though.
My favorite trick is mizing moisturizing cream+foundation for a better texture.
I wear very little makeup, but now have a mineral based blush that I love!
What a great, great company!
OH my gosh, the deserted island question and my answer is ALWAYS an eye last curler…though my 1 year old son stares at me like i’m doing chinese torture…it really does OPEN MY EYES and i don’t even have to wear any mascara..or makeup! so not really a makeup trick, but HEY!
also, pumped to have you come speak at our MOPS group on friday…
Yeah Morgan! I look forward to meeting you on Friday!
