Happy Friday friends! We have officially survived 2 weeks at home during Summer break! We've filled our days with exploring new parks and trails around town. Some have been awesome, and some have been whah-whah and not worth our time. The kids have also been at VBS all this week. I originally just signed up Story, but then remembered that I actually needed to record some shows, so they all went and momma got some work done! Remember my post a few years ago about VBS? Here are the three things I'm loving this week:

#1: Gruene, Texas

This week Aaron sent me away for a night, and let me just tell you there is not much more to put a pep in my step, then a night away with a girlfriend. We started our day out by floating down the Comal river. Floating down the river is a very common thing to do here in Texas (Do you guys in other states do this?) when it's hot outside. It is so relaxing, and a great two hours to just chat and worry about nothing!

Then we ended up in Gruene, which might be the cutest little town in Texas, and enjoyed some wine tasting. Again, no worries, no to-do-lists, just girlfriends chatting. Finally we made it to the GRUENE COTTAGES and that my friends is the first of my fun things to share with you this week. Super cute room, swimming pool, comfy beds, and so conveniently located to everything in Gruene.

If you and your significant other are wanting a night away, here's a great place. Also perfect for girls weekends, and I would take my kids here too if we were going to Schlitterbahn or something.

#2 Persimmon Prints

Last month I got the cutest little top in the mail from one of my favorite companies in the world, Persimmon Prints. I just love everything that Kacie creates, and love her mission behind her products and life. Last Fall I bought the CHOOSE JOY sweatshirt and fell in love with it.

Then in May I got the newest shirt they have put out and it has been my faithful Summer shirt so far. Looks good on the lake, good on a date, and good at the baseball field. I seriously love it, and really love the way that it feels. So comfy! It's on the super soft Alternative Apparel brand. I have the blush pink one, but they also come in black and azalea pink.

#3 Greens 

I have told you about these before because I used to be a distributor for It Works, but now I just buy through my mom. My favorite product they have are the chewy greens.

I give my kids 1/2 of one each day because let's be honest there are four of them and it would cost me a fortune to give them each one a day!
