If you've followed my blog for the last 14 months then you know all about Fedna. She stole my heart while she was here with us for 9 weeks. She has spina bifida and through the Medical Advocacy team was able to come to Austin for life saving surgery. While she was here she was staying with us and we treated he as if she were our daughter. We knew that at the end of her visit she would go back to Haiti and be re-united with her mom, dad and baby brother, but while she was here we loved her as our own.
I read on Lori's blog today that Fedna came for a visit this week. She looks so fabulous! I love to see her sweet smile! It still brings tears to my eyes to think of our journey together while she was here.
