I recently read an article about why napping every day is good for you! It lists so many reasons why napping is good for you, and I wanted to stand up and cheer after each one!
I don't nap every day, although I see nothing wrong with it if you do, heck, I wish I could, but I do take naps a few times a week. When I was working at the radio station and getting up so early I took a short nap each day and it helped me so much.
Do you nap? Every day? How long?
Napping? Essential. As often as possible ~ but no set schedule.
And Joan’s book?! Isn’t it wonderful? I loved reading it. Need to pick that one up again.

YES! I have my kiddos have nap/quiet time in their rooms for 2 hours each day. Sometimes I will nap, sometimes I just sit and enjoy the quiet. Love me some naps! I am sure many days it has saved my kids’ hides, ha ha!
Yes, I’m a foster mom and I nap when I have a baby in the house. It seems the babies I foster struggle the most at night, so sleep is always greatly interrupted…I survive on the naps. I feel like I nap through the night, since they wake so often and then I have to nap during the day…15-30 mins once or twice a day. Depending on how exhausted I am or if my 4 year old and 13 year old will let me. My 4 yr old doesn’t nap but she will lay on me or beside me while I doze! My naps are for survival purposes…I do have vague memories of taking them for pleasure….once upon a time…
