Surrender+Cookies

I'm not one to desire to actually bake something, but living without a stove for six weeks made me want to bake some chocolate chip cookies as fast as I could. Now before I go on, I need to let you know that of course I understand that 6 weeks without a stove is not the end of the world, and most people in the world do not own stoves. I get this. I promise.

Okay back to cookies.

We patiently waited on our dream stove, well, really Aaron's dream stove, but let's be honest I benefit a lot from his dream stove, for six weeks. Six weeks of eating out way too much. Six weeks of using the nasty microwave the previous owner left that we stuck in the carport. Six weeks of crockpot meals. Six weeks of cooking almost every meal that we did eat at home on the grill outside – again, not too shabby I know.

I was so excited to get to bake something in our new oven, even though I have no talent in the baking category at all. Let me tell you about these cookies though. You don't need to be a professional baker to make these. I knew I wanted to blog about these cookies and tell you about them, and then I realized … wait Jamie you already did blog about these cookies …. so, here's the link where I already blogged about them: Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookies

I promise you will love them. Super easy and taste so wonderful.

BUT the other thing to share with you in this picture is my new shirt that recently got from Persimmon Prints. I've told you before how much I love Persimmon Prints a few other times on this blog. I love their designs + their mission + the owner is a super sweet gal.

This shirt is so comfy that I may or may not have worn it three days in a row last week. I did shower each day, but I went ahead and put the comfy shirt right back on again. I mean why not. I was recovering from an event I helped put on and so I laid low for a few days, and if you are going to lay low you might as well be comfy, right?!? Don't judge me, you know you have worn the same shirt three days in a row at one point in your lifetime!

The ladies at Persimmon Prints are so awesome because they have a coupon code for you to get 20% off your purchases through the end of March with the code – HAPPYHOUR – I told you they were nice!

So, go make some cookies and treat yourself to a new shirt for the Spring. You can thank me later.
