Clay is actually enjoying “Robin Hood”.
Our oldest just started reading, “James and the Giant Peach” authored by Ronald Dahl this week. She LOVES it!
Our youngest loves a book entitled, “Alice the Fairy” written by David Shannon. She is also learning to read using books called “Bob Books.” If you search that on Amazon, you’ll see what I’m talking about.
I’m not a kid, (debatable by my family:) but it’s my goal this year to read the entire works of Jane Austen. I’m currently reading “Sense and Sensibility.”

AWWW….
I remember caps for sale…
They are into chapter books now. The girl is reading the Misadventures of Maud March and the Boy is reading Stuart Little.
One of our favorite bedtime stories is “Llama Llama Red Pajama.” Have no clue who the author is at the moment, but the pictures are fun, it has clever rhymes and writing, and is a fun story about being PATIENT. Hasn’t sunk in with our daughter yet, but it’s worth a try again and again 🙂
We also LOVE Llama Llama Red Pajama. We recently got another book about Llama Llama that we love and I can’t remember the name of it and I’m not about to go into the boys room as they sleep now. 🙂
I use to teach Caps for Sale when I taught school. Fun memories. 🙂
Now you probably won’t have a clue about these books, having boys, but our favorites are the Fancy Nancy series and GiGi, God’s Little Princess.
Another fun thing I do, is my girls each have a basket of books in their room. Each holiday or season, I switch out the books to go with that theme. They love to see what new books I have added.
Oh man, do I sound like a teacher. Sorry. 🙂
