Best Books to Read in September

I've got a good, long list of reads for you!

Here's what I read in September

This is Pastor Mike Todd's recent release! Crazy Faith is all about the concept that it's only crazy until it happens. Sometimes God leads us into places that feel crazy or don't make sense. But it only feels that way until it happens – and God's sovereignty is shown again and again.

My girl Jackie Hill Perry is at it again with beautiful words all about the holiness of God. Holier Than Thou walks us through scripture and reveals the good news that if Christ is holy and set apart, He cannot sin against us. This means that everything He does for us is for our good. What a beautiful reminder of God's love for us.

5 Things To Pray For Your Spouse

A short read but a GREAT one! 5 Things To Pray For Your Spouse by Melissa and Michael Kruger comes out in February 2022, and you're gonna want to save it. It guides you through bold, scripture-based prayers for your spouse!

You need to get your hands on this book. The Soul of Desire releases in just a few days and is all about the desire to be known. Dr. Curt Thompson has a true gift of helping other tell their story more truly and see the beauty of God's presence clearer than we ever have.

I'm a big fan of John Mark Comer and his newest book Live No Lies is a great reminder of why I respect him so much. Truth is powerful, but so are lies. And lies have the power to become true if we start believing and living as if they are. John Mark scripturally breaks down how to fight this war of lies in our minds.

Of course, my kids' book! God Made You To Be You comes out on Tuesday and I just can't WAIT! I'm so excited for you to read it, and I hope the kids in your life read it and remember exactly who they are and the purpose that God created for them.

The tagline is The Busy Woman's Guide to an Extraordinary Life of Meaning and Success. Tanya Dalton talks about what it means to live on purpose and become the best version of yourself through daily choices.

This book was timely. Don't Mom Alone is by Heather MacFadyen and dives into the hard, vulnerable mom moments that make us feel lonely and ineffective. But Heather shows us how to foster key relationships so that we don't have to go at it alone.
