Our backyard is not fancy. There's concrete and grass and a big trampoline, that by the way is the best money we have ever spent as parents. We had a party for some friends of ours that got engaged and our plain ole backyard turned into a beautiful backdrop for the couple to be celebrated by friends and family.
We covered the tables in butcher paper and had simple center pieces that were flowers in old bottles. We then put the lights all around the eating area and the places was beautiful and very festive. I must say our backyard looked awesome!
Please tell me that you see the Haitian flag that is on the shed in our neighbors yard. Aaron did technically ask if he could hang it there, even though when he asked it was technically already hanging.
Thanks for the picture, I’m pinning the idea for the lights!
I’ve been enjoying your husband’s music at Verge this week! Very talented and obviously leads from his heart and passion for Christ.
Nicole, hasn’t VERGE been ah-mazing!!!
Hi there! How did you get the wood poles to stand up and stay sturdy in those plastic containers? Love the look.
Moira – I believe the poles are stuck in concrete in the containers. 🙂
