This past month I had two articles over at the VERGE NETWORK and was on the Verge Women podcast twice. I love writing/podcasting for VERGE and I hope that you get to join in our discussions over there.
This past month has also been a great month for our family! Here's one picture from our adventure in Mexico. I just like to look at the beach. Nothing better than that!
June 3th – She Didn't Perfect the Gospel with Me on VERGE WOMEN – A few years ago, I participated in a development program through my church; the program was set up to grow women in their biblical knowledge, love for God’s word, and various doctrines. To say that this program was stretching for me would be an understatement. Even though I’ve been a believer for a while now, I struggled to enjoy the program— It’s not that I didn’t want to read God’s word more or study it deeper than I had in a long time, but it was hard. June 10th – Podcast #5 on VERGE WOMEN – Misplaced identity is going to be a struggle for us until we are perfected, but until then, how can we fight to find our identity in Jesus? Every day, we have opportunities to find our identity in Jesus or in something else. We tend to define who we are by what we do- whether it is in marriage, singleness, motherhood, or in the workplace. June 12th – Parents We Can't Save Our Kids on VERGE FAMILY – I grew up scared into saying a prayer of salvation. I definitely didn’t want to go to hell, so I accepted an invitation to follow Jesus instead. I mean, who wouldn’t choose that? I was a part of the crowd that listened with trembling fear about what might happen if you were to die in a car wreck tonight on your way home from this event and you hadn’t trusted in Jesus as your Savior.
