Hi Jamie! I’m a good friend of Maris’ from high school and I’ve been following your blog and the story of your kids for a while now. I just wanted you to know that you all are being prayed for daily, even by those of us who don’t “know” you personally! Praying that you all will hear the wonderful news that Amos is on his way home soon!
What a gorgeous boy!
Praying for him and your family… ♥
Jamie :
I want present myself before to explain why I am contacting you? I am a mother of one boy he is 3 years old and after this devastating new about Haiti I am thinking more than never about adopting a child, and us a mother I wish to all of them to be able to have a house , a family that love them . I wish to ask you a question? Why is so expensive to adopt a child, why we need to way so long to give a family to somebody that is just there waiting for us, the paper work and the time in between two realities can’t be more frustrating. I was starting once to get involve with one agency but at the end it wasn’t working. I get disperse, my question is this one: Why we are being ignore, I am thinking that if we all have one natural child and adopt the second one we will change this world , don’t you think ? , my desire of adopting is not from and impossibility of having one child is coming from a desire of changing the live of someone that is already there waiting for us, for me is more natural to adopt a child than having my second child. I also want to thank you for your website and time.
Thank for being there. (Sorry for my bad English, I am Italian)
I wish you all the best for your family .
