Today's Friday's Five (or maybe six) Favorite things are all about mom's because if you don't know, or just don't remember, Mother's Day is just around the corner.  I really stink at getting my mom and mother-in-law gifts, and so I want to help you out so you don't look as bad as I do each year.  Here are a few things that you might want to order for you mom/wife/sister/friend this year for Mother's Day!
1. 4.  I can't recommend the book BREAD & WINE enough.  I read this book on vacation in February and have told everyone I know about it since then.  The author does a brilliant job of bringing you into her life and making you feel as if you are actually sitting around her table with her.  You literally think you have tasted the foods she describes and then gives you recipes for.  I literally dreamed about the dates she described and when I finally had them at a party they were just as good as I could have imagined they would have been.  This book will make you laugh and then cry on the same page.  It is just that good.  This would make a great Mother's Day gift for that mom in your life!
