In the midst of all this packing and moving one thing that remains constant in my mind is the countdown to when I go to Haiti again to see my babies. I haven't seen them since May and my heart and soul is crying out to hold them, touch them, talk to them, kiss on them and love all over them.
This trip will be lots of fun b/c Maris and Chrystal are both going with me. Maris went to Haiti about 2 years ago and Chrystal was just with me in May. They are both so thrilled about getting back to Haiti as well!
I found out this week that we are STILL in IBESR. (You can see all the steps here.) I was so hoping to get the good news that we were out. Not yet. I don't know anything about our file, just that we're not out. As you remember earlier in the summer we had a freak out moment b/c our files were not moving. I was in a funk, but because of so much love and encouragement from YOU I was able to get myself going and get a better perspective. NO freak out's from me now, just more prayer and petition and begging of God to move our files! I know of people that went in to IBESR after us and are getting out, so I'm praying that we are soon. I also know there are people still in that have been there much longer than us. There is no rhyme or reason as to who gets out and when they do. As Tara likes to say …. TIH!
So to remind you to pray for us and all the familes adopting from Haiti right now, I thought I would show you some pics of my kids that I got yesterday.
Looks like Licia knows just how much I love to match my kids in matching outfits! Now I just need two more of these for Cayden and Deacon and they would all be so cute! Story even looks cutie pie in boys clothes!!!!
Look at those two teeth!
I can't wait to get to our new home and get a room ready for this little girl! We're getting the boys all bunk beds and Amos will have a special place for when he gets home! I hope and pray that when I go to Haiti in 40 days that we are OUT OF IBESR!
Praying that too Jaimers.
They are so cute in their matching outfits! Okay, I just laid hands on my computer screen and asked God to move y’all out of IBESR.
I saw the pictures on Licia’s blog and they are SO sweet! Praying that you are OUT soon!
praying for the Lord to move mountains to bring your children home.

I’m not sure if we are in IBESR still. I need to call. We went in exactly one year ago! I’m almost scared to call because if we are still in, I will be bummed. TIH!

Ugh my heart aches with you. Those two pull on my heart strings like CRAZY!!! I’m hoping that all the timing will be just perfect for when you get to FINALLY get to bring those kids home. Just imagine, one day you’ll be pulling your hair out because they’re driving you CRAZY. I can’t wait for your blogs about that 🙂
they are SO cute!!!!!!!!!!
Oh so cute. I am praying, praying, praying. Waiting on God time is the hardest thing beleive me I know. But, we just have to keep the faith and know that there is reason in our waiting. Love ya girl and I am praying yall have a safe trip to Texas.
Just wanted you to know we’re praying for you on my blog! Feel free to check it out!
Your children are so cute! I can’t imagine how hard it must be to wait without knowing when you will have them all at home with you. We were blessed by the speed of our adoption (we weren’t even finished with the homestudy!). I’m always in amazement at how God decides to work things out! I’m praying for you and for your babies as you wait for God’s timing.
Rebekah
Jamie, I will keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers! All things come in due time! Focus on your big move and getting life settled, then kiss those babies in 40 days! Take a breather after that and then prepare yourself for total happiness craziness, with 4 kids!!
